Forward looking for Landing and Port Morris (Ward 1)…
Keith wants to ensure Ward 1 residents have access to a quality of life in the Ward that includes bringing businesses back to the Ward, ensuring livable property tax rates and modernizing the infrastructure (utilities, roads).
Keith lives in Landing and holds both a bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Business Administration. He has worked in technology consulting and implementation for almost ten years, and has worked with a number of Fortune 100 companies resulting in the creation of infrastructure, banking, and healthcare systems. As a residential advisor within his community, Keith has helped plan and manage residential complexes.
Keith and his wife Liezel have been married for five years. They have an amazing family with three year old daughter Zoey and one year old daughter Ava. Keith’s hobbies include hiking in Hopatcong State Park, kayaking on the Musconetcong Lake, supporting local businesses, and traveling to new places with his family.
Ward 1 is a dynamic community with limitless potential. We have lagged behind the other wards in business development and infrastructure, despite being a prime location with two beautiful lakes. Our lakefront properties were heavily impacted by the tax assessment with little in return. We need leadership that will demand Ward 1 has an equal seat at the table. We need leadership that drives opportunity and looks ahead, instead of accepting what has been. We need leadership that will help set a bold agenda for all wards, so that everyone in Roxbury can prosper. If we do this, while listening to all members of the community, we can build a better Ward 1 and a better Roxbury.
