ELECTION 2025:
THANK YOU
Thank you for all of the support!

Gail Braden, Allen Emmons, and Brian Considine
The 2025 campaign was intense and brought us many hopeful signs for our country and state’s future. We are especially happy to see our new Governor not only come to office with a healthy margin but your work has produced a blue Morris County!
This year, we had three great candidates in Brian, Allen and Gail for the Roxbury Town Council At Large seats. We have closed much of the gap. We improved by 32% from the last At Large race in 2021. Victory did elude us this year. This is not cause to give up hope. We believe, more than ever, that voters everywhere should always have a real choice. We feel with all your support and hard work that we gave Roxbury voters that.
We congratulate Mark Crowley, Bob DeFillippo, and Jim Rilee on their win.
Far too often campaigns come and go but real success is built on a healthy and thriving party that is all over our community. We will continue our participation at town council meetings, documenting them and calling out what should be better. Let’s all take a moment to commit ourselves to that.
The fight isn’t over. Stay involved. Stay engaged. The story never ends.

Roxbury’s New Town Manager: Our Statement
Friends, we have some promising news. Our town council has, after spending thousands on a ‘search firm’, offered…
Our Goals for Roxbury – Always

Communication and Transparency
It’s time to update the existing communication methods used by the town, allowing important information to reach as many residents as possible. Examples: While the town and Recreation Departments currently have newsletters, they are multi-page pdfs with little functionality. Modern newsletters with hyperlinks for further information would streamline communication. Town departments need a better online presence with updated and robust information.
Roxbury deserves broader representation on the 20+ committees that should provide the input used to run our town. Let’s open them up! These committees, commissions, and boards make important decisions that impact the future of Roxbury Township; the rosters for these committees should reflect the diverse community that they serve, full of people with subject matter expertise. Applying for a seat should be easy and appointments should be merit-based, ensuring that engaged, knowledgeable people are helping to shape Roxbury’s future.
Town meetings, whether of the Town Council, the Recreation Advisory Committee, or the Economic Development Committee, as examples, should be open and accessible for the public. If town business is being discussed, the public should be allowed to attend. Residents of all ages, students, parents, and senior citizens, took advantage of the pandemic protocol of virtual meetings to participate in town governance. This practice should continue. The ability to take part should not be determined by poor health, busy schedules, or car ownership.

Utilities and Infrastructure
As Roxbury changes and grows, we need to plan with the future in mind. We want our diverse population, both young and old, to find a place in Roxbury. Meeting our Affordable Housing goals will play a large part.
We also need to meet challenges like climate change head on, handling both the current effect of flooding and future remediation measures such as migrating towards electricity as a primary source of power.
Roxbury deserves:
- Reliable and reasonably priced utilities
- Transparent evaluation of the paving plan
- Safe drinking water and healthy lakes and streams
- Responsible stormwater management
